About Us

So this is where we are supposed to do a bit of bragging. Well hmmm lets see…….. OK. We are a sister team, middle-ish aged, just enough kids between the two of us. If you ask anyone who knows us well, they would say that we have both lived ‘novel worthy’ lives. We have had no shortage of life experience and over a decades worth of University between the two of us. We have definitely learned tons about; the importance of friends, family and how valuable our homes are in keeping and creating the stability needed to nurture those relationships.

Hi, my name is Amanda, everyone calls me Mandy. Here I am, putting all my eggs in one basket. After a few careers along the way, with experience in quality control, hospitality, business management, marketing as well as a number of creative endeavors and a laundry list of degrees. I’ve landed here. So this must be where I am meant to be. RIGHT??? I never for a second questioned that going down this path with my sister Cara wouldn’t be a great idea. We are like minded, driven, funny as all heck and actually really enjoy each others company. We make a great team! After much contemplation, very loooong brainstorming sessions and getting pretty deep into a couple of other ideas this is where we landed.

Home organizing…. We didn’t pull it out of a hat. It’s something that has come to the forefront of my life through things like; raising 3 kids, a couple of failed relationships, moves, life stages, age (and my infatuation with vintage EVERYTHING).  There were times I held on to far too many things, we downsized our home considerably and added family members into our abode. Through all of this and the demands of day to day motherhood, I came to appreciate the value of being organized. My own sanity and the value in creating a routine to calm the chaos of daily life have become a priority. I’ve helped hoarding family members and a number of friends and strangers come to terms with their disorganization. Simple systems and routines I have developed through work and life experiences and research and education are all assets I can offer you, to once again take control of your home. , ‘Sooooo lets get started’ LOL (I couldn’t resist the YouTube reference, I have 3 twelve year old girls)

My name is Cara Baycroft. Organization has always been the key to my success while caring for a family and juggling a successful, busy career.  Through out my career, my business skill set flourished through management projects and helping others understand their goals and achieve them.  For many years my focus has been on assisting my clients to get the maximum returns and results from their business, while achieving their targets through marketing initiatives.  This required not only a knowledgeable understanding of the market, but also of their business.  In order to learn what others require from you, you have to develop good listening skills and leave your judgement at the door to figure out what is going to actually work for someone else.

As a mom managing a busy career, household, children, dogs, scheduling,  I found my own organizational routine required a lot of planning and rearranging to come up with a flow that worked for my home as well.  On a personal and professional level one of my best skills is my ability to connect with others in an authentic way, and help them overcome their challenges so they can operate as functionally and successfully as possible. By combining my own positive personal qualities with my business acumen.

I found I was able to come up with solutions that worked for myself and my clients. In doing so, I had reached out to my sister multiple times for strategizing, and realized that together we were able to not only come up with very effective organizational techniques to improve our own household systems, but we were able to start helping others we knew to make their lives lighter and their homes somewhere they felt comfortable and organized.  People started hiring us to help them take control of their homes, and we realized this was a skill that was making a difference to improve other people’s daily lives.  That’s when we knew this is what we wanted to do.

We would love the opportunity to hear about what challenges your facing in your home and help you strategize on how we can make it more functional for you.
